AGENTS Networking Dwell on Design LA AGENTS Networking: Dwell on Design LA Image Source: Facebook-Dwell on DesignWITH three days of exhibitions, conferences, home tours and professional education,  Dwell on Design LA, the US’s largest modern architecture design industry showcase, has a feel that is as much festival as it is business networker.Dwell on Design takes place in Los Angeles from June 24 to 26, and is expected to draw as many as 30,000 visitors, including approximately 400 exhibitors and 100 speakers over the three days at  the Los Angeles Convention Centre.Dwell on Design is a branded spin-off of the popular US magazine,  Dwell, launched in 2000, with bases in San Francisco and New York. Dwell on Design, too, has a  shared East Coast-West Coast hosting arrangement, with the events held regularly in Los Angeles and New York City.The most recent  New York  event took place in mid-March 2016, and was yet another instance of networking on a grand scale, with hordes of  design industry entrepreneurs, innovators  and  professionals converging on the city during the three-day event. Dwell magazine selects homes that reflect the rich diversity of domestic, innovative modern architecture and design  throughout Los Angeles.During the event,  punctuating the ongoing showcasing and networking between exhibitors and potential clients, will be presentations and keynotes from some of the biggest names in design, including Alex Rossen, Shinola Detroit; Alissa Walker, Gizmodo; Brian Harms Samsung Research USA; Sou Fujimoto,  Sou Fujimoto Architects; and Omar Brownson,  River LA, to name just a few.In 2015,  Dwell President and CEO, Michela O’Connor Abrams, tapped into the power of Dwell on Design, when  she summed up the success of the New York event:  â€œIm proud to say that we were incredibly successful… in bringing to the forefront the most relevant issues in the industry â€"  resiliency, authenticity, the business of design, and furniture and product design â€"  with top professionals shaping the future of architecture and design.”The all important Dwell on Design LA Trade Day takes place on Friday June 24, with content specifically aimed at the design industry.
